Welcome to TalkToAril. By accessing this website, booking a session, or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not book a session or use this website.

1. Nature of Service (Scope of Support)

​

TalkToAril is an independent, peer-to-peer listening and support service.

​

• No Professional Advice: The services provided by TalkToAril are strictly platonic, peer-based listening sessions. This service does not constitute, replace, or simulate professional counseling, therapy, psychiatric treatment, medical guidance, or professional life coaching.

​

• No Crisis Intervention: TalkToAril is not an emergency hotline or crisis intervention service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, severe psychological distress, or suicidal thoughts, you must immediately contact your local emergency health services or a licensed crisis hotline.

​

2. Eligibility

​

You must be at least 18 years of age to book a session or utilize the services of TalkToAril. By submitting a booking request and completing payment, you confirm and warrant that you are a legal adult.

​

3. Financial Terms & Advance Payment

​

• Advance Payment Required: All sessions must be paid for in advance via Wise before a calendar slot is officially secured.

​

• Verification: A valid Wise transaction reference number must be provided at the time of booking. Bookings with invalid or missing reference numbers will be automatically canceled within two (2) hours.

​

• Non-Refundability: All payments are strictly non-refundable, except as explicitly stated in Section 5 (Technical Issues).

​

4. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

​

• Rescheduling Window: You may reschedule your booked session up to twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled start time using the link provided in your confirmation email. Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours in advance will not be accommodated, and the payment will be forfeited.

​

• No-Shows & Late Arrivals: Sessions will begin exactly at the scheduled time. If you do not join the Zoom meeting within the first ten (10) minutes of the scheduled session, it will be marked as a no-show. The session will be terminated, and no refund or reschedule will be issued.

​

5. Technical Issues

​

• Connection Failures: If severe technical difficulties or internet outages (on the part of either TalkToAril or the client) prevent a session from connecting or being completed, a complimentary reschedule will be issued.

​

• No Refunds for Technical Issues: Under no circumstances will cash or digital payment refunds be issued for technical failures; the sole remedy is a priority rescheduling of the session.

​

6. Code of Conduct & Zero-Tolerance Boundaries

​

TalkToAril maintains a safe, respectful environment. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior. You explicitly agree to the following boundaries:

​

• Strictly Platonic: Any romantic advances, sexual comments, flirting, or requests for romantic companionship are strictly prohibited.

​

• No Financial Solicitations: Requests to borrow money, pitch business solicitations, or initiate financial transactions outside of service booking fees will not be tolerated.

​

• Respectful Communication: Harassment, abusive language, discrimination, or aggressive behavior will result in immediate termination.

​

• Enforcement: If you violate any of these boundaries during a session, TalkToAril reserves the right to terminate the video, voice, or chat call instantly. Your access will be permanently banned, and no refund will be provided.

​

7. Privacy & Prohibitions on Recording

​

• Safe Space: To ensure complete confidentiality and protect the integrity of the safe space, no recording is permitted.

​

• Recording Ban: You are strictly prohibited from audio-recording, video-recording, taking screenshots, or duplicating text chats of any session, in whole or in part.

​

• Distribution Ban: Publishing or broadcasting any portion of a TalkToAril session on social media, public forums, or any digital platform is a violation of privacy laws and will result in immediate legal action.

​

8. Limitation of Liability

​

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TalkToAril and its founder shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential emotional, mental, or psychological outcomes resulting from the use of this peer support service. Users assume full personal responsibility for their choices, well-being, and actions during and after sessions.

9. Modifications to Terms

​

TalkToAril reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website or services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
